Excellent Spoiler for Model Y with the right amount of everything

This review is for the matte finish V-Style Carbon Fiber spoiler. This spoiler fits excellent and gives the Model Y, that needed aggressive, but not overdone look to it. Since my car is the stealth grey, the matte finish really adds the difference in touch separating it from the car. I have already receive many compliments on the spoiler, and makes it easier to find in the sea of Model Y's in my area.

You do have to take your time fitting the spoiler and I would recommend someone help you with the alignment when placing the spoiler to avoid any gaps. I would highly recommend you dry fit the spoiler first, finding the exact positioning and location you are going to mount it. I used a lot of painters tape to mark off the exact corners to place the spoiler at. Have that helper align it with your tape ad practice a few times. When ready, I would remove all the tape at once and place it slowly and carefully. You only get one chance with the VHB tape without weakening its hold. Just in case you are concerned, the spoiler only weighs about 3lbs. Using 3M VHB tape, most tapes are rated at about 25 - 45lbs of hold per inch (depending on size - I used 1" width tape https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIasko9-AmQ). That being said, I lined the whole wing with the 1" tape, maybe totaling about 72 inches of 1" tape around. I'm sure its overkill, but I didn't want it going anywhere, and I'm sure with the wing only being 3lbs, will have no problems staying on. I have taken the car to 85 MPH, and the wing doesn't move, but I'm also not sure how much downforce is being applied. Either way, I don't think it will be going anywhere anytime soon.

Originally before I found Fusion Motorsports, I bought a "Real Carbon Fiber" spoiler from Amazon, only to find out that it was just a plastic molded spoiler with a carbon fiber film glued to the bottom to make it "look" like carbon fiber. It wasn't real carbon fiber. This one you receive from Fusion, is a real carbon fiber spoiler and only weighs about 3lbs. I was lucky enough to google around looking for a spoiler, when I came across Fusion's website. I looked them up on YouTube and saw some videos that others posted. Once I saw this spoiler, I knew it was the one I wanted, and I made my purchase.

What else makes this experience the best, is the customer service and speed of the transaction you will receive from Fusion Motorsports. I was able to get my spoiler in about 4 days from the day I placed my order. The owner was able to answer all my questions, and ensured I would be satisfied.

With the quality of the product and service I received, I will be coming back for more products in the future. Fusion is definitely top notch, and will look forward to doing business with them again in the future.
